RE: Branson?

We frequent Branson fairly often and we like to stay at The Wilderness it is a clean and very friendly park shuttle to Silver Dollar City and very woodsy!

RE: What to do with obnoxious neighbors?

I have posted a review on RVparkreviews and I also sent an email to the campground and also the corporate offices of the owner this was done on Monday morning and I still have not had any replies as of yet. And my next trip will be better it will be to our family property 240 acres near Bennett Spring Mo. Thanks to all who responded.

RE: What to do with obnoxious neighbors?

After reading the replies closer a few comments, This is a private campground, and is advertised as a family campground. I dont mind people not obeying rules to a T but partying until 3 AM is out of line. Also forgot to add that one of the people turned there golf cart and aimed it at my camper and turned the lights on.

RE: What to do with obnoxious neighbors?

I would hAVE CALLED 911 but no phone service of any kind for miles around this area. that is another reason i complained to the staff how would someone get help if a "real" emergencey would come up. I also was going to do the horn thing early in the AM but then i would be no different than them waking everyone else up!

What to do with obnoxious neighbors?

The family was camping at the Landing at Mark Twain Lake last weekend nice park nothing eventful until 12:30 Sat. Night. Neighbors (Seasonal campers)came back from a party and decided to continue with about 10-15 people drinking loud stereo and hooting and hollering. I took it until about 1 a.m. and then i drove to the park office and maintenence shed and could not find any help so I confronted them and told them that quiet time is from 11 - 6 and asked if they could keep it down. I was told that they have been seasonal for 5 years and that they never had any complaints before. After I went back to our camper someone followed me and informed me that I must be a light sleeper and to turn on the air conditioner because they were not being too loud. The weather was perfect and did not even need to run the ac. THe next morning I was the first one at the office to complain manager listened to my story and said they were sorry I do not know what or if anything was or will be said to the seasonal campers but I do know that I will rethink staying here again!

RE: Which one ... Topsail, Camping on the Gulf, Emerald, Navarre

WE just got back the 7th of July from this area, we stayed 2 nights at Emerald Beach RV park It was a nice park $122 for 2 nights(pricey cause charge for kids) the beach was great but the water was terrible too warm and dirty and smelled bad, we went out to Navarre Beach SP to swim. Then spent 7 nights in Gulf Shores SP ($150) and we would go back there.

RE: "The Little Zoo That Could" in Gulf Shores, AL

We are heading to Gulf State Park next weekend, is any sites better than others I would like to have a water front but they would not reserve a certain site until we get there. Any recomendations other than the Zoo? we have a 19, 16, and 9 yr old kids.

RE: anyone towing with 2008 1500 silverado/serria

Mine is not an 08 but an 05 GMC crewcab 1500 4 wheel drive towing a 28' TT last weekend I got 9.8 MPG towing there, left trailer at the property and i got 17 MPG on the way home. I am satisfied with that sinnce my ext cab truck lat year got between 7&8 MPG. I did install the Hypertech programmer but I am not sure what difference it made since I did not pull the TT before the install.

RE: What If?

I do not see any harm, other than maybe ticking off those in line for not thinking of it also!

RE: ? about add on's, should we add this or should we add that?

If you camp with a group of people the outside shower (more of a garden hose w/sprayer) works great for filling dish pans to wash dishes and to rinse things off it is a great feature to have.

RE: Brake Controler doesn't work in new TV

There is a 40 amp breaker (looks like a fuse) that needs to be installed in the elctrical box under the hood on the drivers side, at least thats where it is on a 2005 GMC.

RE: Need rv resort, Branson, Mo

We like to stay at the Wilderness Campground, it is on 265 outside the town of Branson but i think the only shuttle is to Siver Dollar City. But it is a nice park with a playground and pool.
